Self Portrait, 18 x 24, 2012, Oil on Canvas.JPG

I am an artist whose style fluctuates around the thoughts I have swimming in my head at a given period of time.  I can describe my art as a pop-modern style with the subjects having a tendency to focus on religion, pop culture, and modern times.  My art is often confused with illustration art due to the subject matter portrayed.  I make portraits of myself with a sense of being provoked by my surroundings, stirring up and directly affecting my emotional state.  When I make portraits of others, it’s usually representing them in a depraved, warped depiction where they are mentally trapped and have lost all sense of self.  Otherwise, any other art I create derives directly from pop culture references put to vulgar or modern social views.
